About Music Moments

Music Moments exists to help you or you and your child have a joyful musical journey from experience to performance. Kindermusik classes teach you and your child how to learn through movement, stories, games, sometimes crafts, and making new friends. Classes are age appropriate and based on recent early childhood research that says music and movement do help your child’s brain to have a solid foundation for learning. That learning foundation begins even before birth, but from age 0-7, Kindermusik shows you how your child progresses from learning experiences to cognition and understanding. We focus on listening, language, vocabulary, pre-reading skills, problem solving, spatial skills, emotional coping skills, physical strength, musical concepts, and making many new friends! See what Kindermusik is all about at

Piano lessons through Music Moments helps you or your child learn to play piano with proper technique, a strong understanding of musical theory, music appreciation and history, as well as many opportunities to perform and use the talents God has given them.

Voice Lessons through Music Moments not only teaches you to sing a song, but we actually build your voice from the ground up. We work on warming up the voice, separating the registers, and blending and balancing the registers in order to strengthen the muscles in the larynx to sing any style of music well.

Bonnie Bost is the owner, founder, and teacher of Music Moments. She started this business in 2oo1 with piano lessons. She became certified in Kindermusik in 2003, and now enjoys teaching voice in her studio as well. Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education, with a focus on piano, from Brewton-Parker College. Miss Bonnie also holds a Master’s Degree in Ethnomusicology from Liberty University.  Miss Bonnie’s passion is to see others learning through music, learning to be musicians, and using their talents as a service to God and others.

Surfing and found you as my oldest has now graduated from Kindermusik…yes, we’ve done every program out there. Now, I want to start her on Piano lessons. She just finished the young child classes and I’m looking for a curriculum that would work well and pick up somewhat where we left off…Any suggestions? Thank you for your help!

Hi, thanks for contacting me through my blog! That’s wonderful that your child just finished the Young Child Kindermusik Lessons. I teach those as well in preparation for private piano lessons. I think Young Child is essential for success in private piano lessons and voice or violin and other instruments as well. Where are you located? I use a piano method called Keys for the Kingdom that teaches the staff well and I think goes along with Kindermusik, though they know a little more at the beginning than those who haven’t taken Kindermusik. I would love to talk with you more about piano lessons and your child’s needs. Call me, Bonnie Bost at 770-315-1302. Look forward to hearing from you.
